Nicola studied Law at the University of Kent. After graduating she started her career at Williams Powell where she held various roles including Litigation Paralegal and Trade Mark Paralegal. Nicola then completed her Trade Mark Attorney training at Williams Powell under the supervision of the Partners. Nicola works with clients of all sizes and specialties, from start-ups to multi-national companies, covering a variety of trade mark work including filing and prosecuting UK and WIPO trade mark applications. She also manages clients' trade mark portfolios, providing advice on global brand protection, filing strategies and overseeing foreign filings. Nicola also handles contentious proceedings including oppositions, revocation actions and trade mark infringement proceedings. Nicola has had recent experience working with Border Force to prevent the importation of goods that infringe our client’s intellectual property rights, in addition to performing numerous takedown actions to prevent the sale of infringing goods through online platforms such as eBay and Amazon.
